What the image price includes

The table covers the output image component only. Input text, references, text responses, thinking and search can add charges. fal publishes additional search and high-thinking fees for Nano Banana 2. The table is not a guaranteed all-in request price.

Google publishes rounded per-image equivalents while OpenRouter lists image-token rates. OpenRouter estimates use 1,120/1,680/2,520 tokens for Nano Banana 2 at 1K/2K/4K, and 1,120/2,000 for Pro at 1K–2K/4K. Rounding differences do not establish a markup.

Bulk generation and accepted-image cost

If 8,000 of 10,000 paid images are accepted, divide total spend by 8,000 rather than by request count. Add retries, inputs and storage. For a product catalog, begin with a small representative batch and review product fidelity.

A queue of regular generations and Google Batch are different modes. Do not transfer a Batch discount to interactive pricing or another gateway. Google schedules the old Gemini 2.5 Flash Image for shutdown on October 2, 2026; budget new projects around the current family.

Connect the model and check the result

Create an API429 key and check the permitted model IDs before migrating a workload. Keep the key on your server. Review the request contract and inspect actual usage and charges on a small representative job before increasing volume.

Reference rates checked October 2, 2026. Recheck after a model release, promotion or pricing change. Reference figures are hidden after their review deadline; current API429 prices load from the public catalog. Neither individual contracts nor discounts are inferred.
